VERY rare 100 Davenport Arabian. Xander is smart combined with a sweet and gentle nature. This little man has not a single sensitive spot; I've never worried about him getting irritated. He has had an exceptionally solid start, and has been introduced to it all. Thorough groundwork: lunging, grounddriving, in-hand obstacles, ponied through thick woods, swimming, crossing creeks, through brush, over logs. When Xander was little I used to take him on jogs out on rugged trails. He has spectacular, smooth gaits that are truly eye catching. Perfect combination of Arabian endurance with flat-kneed movement and none of the hot-tempered quirks. A spectacular standard for a three year old Arabian. Halter, bosal, or bit = Same great responsiveness. Trail ridden 10+ times. Cruises up front like he's been doing it for years, but super pleasant in the back. In the arena he's solid at walk and trot, lateral, good stops, soft and light, tracks straight with no young horse bows. Started at the canter, takes it all in stride! With a few years and miles he will be an outstanding childrens mount. When I put beginner riders on him, I'm comforted to see that he not only behaves like a royal gentleman, but he actually mellows out MORE.
