Description

Chip (DOB: 4/9/2004); Sire: Hope Springs True Gold, Dam: Hay’s Pebbles

Registered RMHA (Valrhona Red). Chip is a cute, sorrel gelding, 15.1 H and growing! Great size for a larger rider (he's a bit big for me, as I'm only 5'4"!).

I've been working with him since Oct. 1, 2007, and he's become a very fun trail horse. He's willing, inquisitive, and has a nice gait. He's been good on the road (with traffic), and will cross bridges and go through water. Chip can walk, trot, canter, gait, back, sidep**** and yield hindquarters. He's also learning to sidep**** so that I can open/shut gaits off his back! He's a sweetheart, and loves to be around people. So easy to handle on the ground.

He's great about trailering, and will load in a stock, slant load, or straight load trailer--and will back out of the trailer slowly as well.

Current on all yearly shots, worming/farrier work every 2 months.
