Since he's been with me I have mainly used him as a head horse at ropings, and rodeos. He's very quick, and quiet in the box. I can slow lope him around with just a rope around his neck. He stands for the farrier. I have never put shoes on him, for the sole reason I don't put shoes on any of my hroses after being introduced to a new theory. This 6yr. old bay is a very gentle, calm gelding. He is a registered quarter horse, that I just bought this summer. He spent 2 months in OK. city at the Lazy E for team roping last winter. When he was brought back to Ohio I bought him and started him on barrels, and now use him as a back-up roping horse and made him my main barrel horse.He's only been barrel racing since July 07' and I have placed in numerous events, such as NBHA and local competitions. I have also hauled him to a few rodeos this summer. He is VERY calm, walks through gate without a problem and will come to a complete stop before exiting. Great for a kid or even an experienced rider who's ready to push him further. Also a great trail horse, who stands for the farrier, rides around with a halter, loads and clips.
